Financial Planning Service Desk Analyst/Associate, Global Investment Office

at Morgan Stanley. This role is responsible for helping Financial Advisors and Client Service Associates navigate Morgan Stanley’s financial planning tools. A key component is to aggregate and log feedback from Financial Advisors and their teams. The Analyst/Associate will identify, resolve, and escalate technical issues. The role focuses on metrics and delivering a high level of service to Financial Advisors, providing navigational guidance, feedback aggregation, and issue escalation/resolution. This role will involve partnerships with other key financial planning stakeholders. Analysts/Associates will gain exposure to Financial Planning Directors and other home office resources. All Financial Planning Service Desk Analysts/Associates are encouraged to complete the Financial Planning Specialist designation. This designation recognizes expertise and interest in financial planning and serves as the first section of the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) certification course. Upon completion of the designation, you may pursue the CFP. Analysts/Associates participate in regular networking events and professional skill workshops. The role provides exposure to wealth management and can prepare you for a future at the firm. This person will report to the team manager and will leverage Morgan Stanley’s financial tools with experienced Financial Advisors, helping them develop their business and increase client engagement. Navigate and provide expert level guidance to Financial Advisors and Client Service Associates using Morgan Stanley’s financial planning tools Aggregate feedback and address technical issues Field incoming calls and provide a high level of service Monitor service metrics and contribute to improving team efficiency Learn and maintain awareness of Morgan Stanley’s broader set of digital tools Collaborate with key financial planning stakeholders and home office teammates Interest in achieving Financial Planning Specialist designation / Certified Financial Planner certification Qualifications

Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) required; Series 7 and 66 preferred and required within 4 months of joining Bachelor’s degree required 2+ years of financial services experience or related industry preferred, but not required Strong verbal and written communication skills Detail oriented with an ability to handle multiple priorities Ability to work efficiently under pressure, with a focus on the client experience Ability to problem solve and identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions Team-oriented approach Successful completion of background check and pre-employment assessments What You Can Expect From Morgan Stanley

Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $70,000.00 and $85,000.00 per year at employment start. Base pay is determined on an individualized basis and is part of the total compensation package, which may include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentives, and benefit programs.
