We are a leading international law and professional services firm providing legal, corporate and fiduciary services to global corporations, financial institutions, capital market participants and investment fund managers. Based in our Jersey Office, we are seeking a dynamic and strategic Events Manager to join the European Marketing, Business Development and Communications team to support our four European offices (Guernsey, Jersey, Ireland and London), which delivers over 100 firm events per annum. This role is pivotal in developing and delivering a strong programme of strategic events designed to build client relationships, profile the expertise of the Walkers team, and build our firm's profile with our target market. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the strategic planning, execution, and continuous improvement of our event portfolio. This role ensures all events reflect our brand standards, deliver measurable impact, and contribute to our business objectives. Responsibilities

Manage event planning and measurement frameworks, ensuring every event has clear objectives, KPI's, and post-event evaluation processes. Develop, implement, and maintain event standards that align with the brand, ensuring consistency and excellence across all corporate and sector-specific events. Drive continuous improvement, innovation, efficiencies and value for money in delivery of the firm's events programme. Create and manage a centralised annual events calendar, optimising for business impact and resource efficiency. Oversee end-to-end event planning and execution, ensuring high-quality delivery, seamless logistics, and impactful attendee experiences. Manage contractor relationships, negotiating contract and ensuring service excellence. Develop and oversee vendor partnerships to optimise spend and maximise impact the marketing budget. Ensure all events are on-brand, meeting business objectives while delivering engaging impactful experiences. Act as a key liaison with internal stakeholders, ensuring events support commercial goals and create valuable engagement opportunities. Train, mentor, and build the events team, ensuring they have the skills, tools, and processes to succeed. Management of marketing budgets, including challenging costs, preparing budgets, processing invoices and reporting on actual versus budgeted activity, ensuring cost efficiency and strategic allocation of resources. Keep up to date with best-in-class industry and external event and marketing offerings, including use of technology and other leading-edge event experiential practices. Work with the global Marketing, Business Development and Communications team to optimise all aspects of the events management process and align with wider marketing campaign activity in line with commercial objectives. Requirements

Proven leadership experience in event management, working with large scale corporates, B2B environment, or event agency background. Expert in event planning and logistics, with a track record of delivering high-quality experiences. Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to align multiple teams and priorities. Strong analytical mindset, with experience in event measurement and ROI tracking. Comfortable managing budgets, contracts, and external vendors. Degree qualified; additional qualifications in event management, marketing, law, or business are advantageous. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites. Experience with Adobe Suite or other design software is desirable but not essential.
