Overview
SAP - Quality Management (QM) Manager - Consulting - Location OPEN. Location: Anywhere in Country. This role is part of EY's SAP service line capabilities (Supply Chain, FICO, BPC, Data & Analytics, Customer, Tech/Arch and SuccessFactors) aimed at delivering better outcomes for clients from strategy to execution. In this role, you will interact with business stakeholders, evaluate business models, processes, and operations; gather, understand, and analyze business requirements; translate them into technical specifications; and collaborate with technical teams to design and deliver system architecture solutions. You will also analyze newly implemented technology to ensure it meets business needs. Responsibilities
Lead workstream delivery and ensure effective management of processes and solutions. Track deliverable completion and project status, ensuring alignment with performance objectives. Participate in client working sessions, leading workstreams from planning through execution and closure. Enhance and optimize the Quality Management (QM) process framework, proactively addressing discrepancies. Design and prototype SAP QM solutions, lead discussions on functionality to support informed decision-making. Demonstrate SAP’s standard capabilities through system demos, gain stakeholder acceptance, and address any functional gaps or client needs. Interpret local business needs into system configurations, ensuring SAP setups align with customer objectives. Scope reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, workflows and other development objects to integrate client needs with SAP. Evaluate functional specifications documents for clarity and alignment with project objectives. Collaborate with security teams to implement local security profiles addressing operational needs. Perform field and value mappings for data conversion efforts. Provide support and subject matter expertise during testing and resolve issues identified during testing. Support cutover and go-live activities and perform tasks per the cutover plan and schedules. Demonstrate strong technical capabilities with business acumen to contribute to project success. Coordinate across teams on integration points with PTD, LEX(IM/EWM), STP for alignment across system components. Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree (4-year). Typically 4-6 years of relevant experience; 3+ years of experience with SAP ERP, focused on Quality Management modules. Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills. Experience managing an SAP project or workstream and project-based team members. Knowledge of leading practices, benchmarking, and advisory experience relevant to industry-specific finance and technology functions. Ability to research client inquiries and emerging issues, including regulations and new technologies. Willingness to travel to meet client needs; travel estimated at 40-60%. SAP certification(s) and experience with at least three full cycle implementations of core modules (preferred). Ideal Skills
