Position Overview : The Field Operator will assure all production activities are conducted in a safe, responsible, and environmentally sound manner in compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as all regulatory requirements. This is at our

Chem32

site in

Orange, TX.

What you will be doing:

Perform Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) for all maintenance as required

Promote and comply with Life Saving Behaviors (LSBs)

Promote and utilize Stop Work Authority (SWA)

Promote and support ISO 9000 / RC 14001 and Ecovyst Principles Management Systems

Comply with Production Schedules and achieve right-first-time product specifications

Comply with all Company and Site Policies/Procedures

Prioritize and troubleshoot operational problems

Comply with all Environmental limits and permits

Write work notifications/orders on equipment issues

Supplement maintenance manpower, aiding in plant related maintenance as needed (e.g. plant shutdowns)

Assist with unloading trucks in the warehouse, as needed

Coordination with and preparations for maintenance required

Actively participate in HSE such as PHAs and PSSRs

Assist in any additional task needed to complete the assigned job

Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED and 1 plus years’ experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, or a Process Technology degree from college/technical school; and six months of experience in process operations at a chemical plant

Computer knowledge with basic mathematic and writing skills of experience in process operations at a chemical plant

Ability to communicate with visitors, professional and plant personnel

Forklift experience
