Snow College is committed to expanding access to its programs and offerings throughout its six-county service region by building strong, education-focused partnerships with community-based organizations.

The Community-Based Partnership Coordinator will lead these efforts by assessing the current landscape of potential partnerships, cultivating relationships, and developing strategic pipelines that connect students of all backgrounds and life stages to Snow College programs. Through this work, the coordinator will help open doors for further education and career opportunities for members of the communities throughout its service region.

Snow College's first community partnership for this new role will be with the Utah Education Initiative. Through this and future collaborations, the Community-Based Partnership Coordinator will be instrumental in strengthening connections and driving impact across the six-county region. The coordinator will work closely with both internal college stakeholders and external community leaders to ensure alignment, foster engagement, and maximize impact. Qualifications

Required Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in education, business, communications, public relations, or related field. • Demonstrated experience in partnership development, community outreach, or relationship management. • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a collaborative environment. • Willingness and ability to travel throughout the six-county region as needed.

Preferred Qualifications • Master's degree in a related field. • Experience working in higher education or with educational access initiatives. • Familiarity with the Utah Education Initiative and regional workforce or education needs. • Bilingual or multilingual skills.

Work Environment & Expectations This position will require a combination of office-based work, travel to partner sites, and participation in community events outside of standard business hours. The successful candidate will be a proactive, relationship-driven professional who is passionate about expanding access to higher education and strengthening the connection between Snow College and the communities it serves. This is a one-year position, with a potential for renewal based on funding availability Major Responsibilities/Duties

Key Responsibilities Strategic Partnership Development • Identify, assess, and prioritize potential community partners aligned with Snow College's mission and strategic goals. • Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with schools, businesses, nonprofits, religious institutions, government agencies, and other community organizations. • Serve as the primary liaison for the Utah Education Initiative, coordinating outreach and activities in collaboration with regional representatives.

Pipeline Creation & Program Promotion • Design and implement strategies to create educational pathways from community organizations to Snow College programs. • Develop partnership agreements, MOUs, and engagement plans that outline roles, expectations, and mutual benefits. • Coordinate events, presentations, and outreach efforts that promote Snow College programs and services to diverse audiences.

Community & Regional Engagement • Represent Snow College at community meetings, events, and forums to raise awareness of educational opportunities. • Facilitate regular communication between Snow College leadership, faculty, and community partners to ensure alignment and responsiveness to local needs. • Collaborate with college departments to connect partners with relevant academic programs, workforce training, and student services.

Assessment & Reporting • Track partnership activities, outcomes, and impact to measure effectiveness. • Prepare regular reports for college leadership highlighting successes, challenges, and recommendations for growth. • Monitor trends, resources, and opportunities for community engagement within the six-county region. Definition.

A part-time adjunct faculty member is employed at less than 75% time annually and teaches at least one credit hour or more.

A part-time staff member is employed at less that 75% time annually. The employment time is three continuous months at an average of 15 hours a week.

Student hourly employees are exempt from the part-time privileges of this policy.

Privileges.

Upon authorization by the hiring department, part-time employees as defined under this policy will be issued a Snow College Part-Time Staff/Faculty Identification Card at the time of hire. The card entitles the holder to all of the privileges associated with a Full-Time Staff/Faculty Identification Card including, but not necessarily limited to, general admission or discounted prices for athletic and cultural events; Snow College library card issuance; computer network, Web, and e-mail access; bookstore sponsored discounts; and other discounts associated with the ID card at either campus. Supervisors have the right to terminate the privileges at any time during the fiscal year.

Non-inherent Privileges.

Privileges of full-time employees such as, but not necessarily limited to, college parties or gatherings, professional development activities, office/computer/telephone access, current expense budgets may be provided to part-time employees only at department discretion.
