SBI Consultants Inc is currently looking for a

Chief Estimator

(CE) to join our team. The Chief Estimator is an integral role that interacts closely with all levels of external and internal stakeholders. CE is responsible for the line of business that performs cost management and estimating consulting for Architects, Engineers, Developers and Owners. The objective of CE is to lead the team of Project Engineers/Estimators, manage their daily activities. Implement technical estimating standards and procedures. Assess the team skillset, develop training and development plan to ensure services are performed at the highest industry standards. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage SBI estimating department, manage workload & resources. Develop team skillset through coaching, mentoring, sharing knowledge and best industry practices. Evaluate performance and provide timely feedback. Create budgets and estimates by performing accurate quantity take offs, using plans and specs, or conceptual information. Oversee the complete estimating process. Prepare conceptual budgets based with minimal information available. Prepares Schematic, Design Development and GMP estimates at the different stages of design. Responsible for maintaining SBI internal historical cost database. Establish standardized procedure. Ensure QA/QC of submitted estimates/cost models. Review, estimate and reconcile change orders. Serve as point of contact for various stakeholders - Clients, Contractors and Subcontractors, Architects/Engineers and SBI team-members. Solicit subcontractor and supplier info and pricing data. Initiate and manage the entire bid process inclusive of preparation of detailed bid packages and assure accurate and proper submissions/proposals by all subcontractors and suppliers. Perform and/or oversee quantity survey and pricing effort for internal budgets. Review general conditions, schedule, scopes of work, hoisting plans, site logistics and other exhibits as prepared by Operations. Maintain and communicate data on construction and material cost trends affecting project costs. Develop and implement Value Engineering solutions to drive down project costs while maintaining a high level of construction quality. Develop subcontractor, vendor and client relationship. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor and/or Master's degree in engineering/construction management from an accredited university. 15+ years of progressive and relevant industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience including 5+ years of experience managing a team. Ability to read drawings and specifications, perform quality surveying. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel - advanced level). Proficient with CAD or other Building Modeling & Design Applications, Project Management, Scheduling, Estimating softwares. Successful candidate must be a problem solver and a team player, who is able to manage time, plan and prioritize assignments to meet clients' demands and project(s) deadlines. Excellent oral and written communication skills. COMPENSATION:

Offered rate of compensation will commensurate with individual education, qualifications, experience, skills and work location. Salary range for this position is $200,000 - $255,000 annually plus Performance Bonus & Profit Sharing Bonus. BENEFITS PACKAGE:
