Summary
The Channel Account Manager manages ESET Partner relationships and is responsible for accelerating partner business while driving incremental revenue to ESET. This individual works with the ESET Inside Channel Sales Team to establish, grow, and manage key partner relationships.
Job Description
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Achieve revenue and KPI targets; analyze MSP market, identify MSP/MSSP partner targets, and growth opportunities.
Profile partners, identify growth opportunities and churn risks.
Communicate with partners about product/services and gather requirements.
Manage assigned MSP/MSSP accounts proactively.
Develop business plans with strategic partners, including metrics and goals.
Update and track pipeline activities in ESET CRM.
Build trusted relationships with complex partners and manage challenging sales situations.
Act as liaison for sales issues; coordinate resources for solutions.
Recruit, train, and manage MSPs/MSSPs; facilitate access to resources and tools.
Deliver partner recruitment presentations and create joint value propositions.
Visit prospective MSP/MSSP customers to assess needs and product fit.
Conduct joint onsite sales calls with partners to close deals.
Collaborate with marketing on partner marketing programs aligned with business plans.
Work with internal teams to build and close pipelines.
Conduct Quarterly Business Reviews with partners.
Participate in industry and marketing events as needed.
Stay current on ESET products/services to support sales efforts.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education:
Degree or equivalent, preferably in IT or cybersecurity.
Availability for 20-30% travel.
Proficiency in Salesforce CRM.
Experience:
5+ years selling to businesses.
5-7 years channel management experience.
Knowledge:
Business development fundamentals and go-to-market strategies.
Excellent presentation, written, and verbal skills.
Proactive lead generation and opportunity development.
Knowledge of indirect revenue, sales processes, and relationship building.
Decision-making skills considering costs and benefits.
Ability to close deals while maintaining high satisfaction.
Extensive channel management, training, and development experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Salary Range: $80,000-$90,000 plus variable compensation
