Experienced or Senior Manufacturing Engineer

(Level 3 or 4) to join our

Space Launch Systems, Exploration Upper Stage

team in

New Orleans, Louisiana . Join Boeing’s Artemis team - build on a legacy at Michoud, "America's Rocket Factory" Imagine your work directly enabling humanity’s return to the Moon and paving the way for deep space exploration. As a Manufacturing Engineer on Boeing’s Artemis program, you will lead in the development of the production systems and processes for the Exploration Upper Stage, the newest product to be added to the Michoud heritage. You will help turn the spacecraft design into hardware enabling humans to land on the Moon and beyond again. A proud heritage - Michoud Assembly Facility (MAF) is located in New Orleans East and operated in partnership with NASA. Michoud is often called "America's Rocket Factory" and combines one of the world’s largest industrial manufacturing buildings with heavy lift tooling and decadeslong experience in producing large structures that enable human exploration. Position Responsibilities

Develops and implements production and tooling methodologies. Participates on Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines. Refines, validates, coordinates and implements conceptual designs and manages the program architecture for build. Develops manufacturing plans and oversees plan optimization. Conducts complex producibility and variation analyses to ensure that manufacturing process capability matches requirements. Resolves complex technical problems. Serves as a project manager to ensure contract requirements, specifications, design criteria and schedule performance are integrated and maintained. Leads advanced design solutions and supports first-time build of a new developmental product. Deploys company Lean Enterprise analysis methods. Documents and communicates producibility best practices. Provides guidance to others through structured mentoring. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement 5+ years of experience in the manufacturing engineering field Experience with quality assurance principles and practices Experience with CAD software Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

10+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience Experience in Spacecraft build Experience in development programs Experience in CREO Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems Relocation:
