We are seeking an experienced
Certified Medical Assistant
to provide both
front and back office support
in a clinical setting. Responsibilities include greeting and rooming patients, scheduling, answering phones, taking vitals, drawing blood, administering vaccines, and providing additional clinical support as needed. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, excellent communication, and a commitment to delivering outstanding patient care. Key Responsibilities Greet and room patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient patient flow. Schedule appointments and answer patient inquiries by phone. Take and record patient vitals accurately. Perform
phlebotomy/venipuncture
and administer vaccines. Assist with
EKG
and
point-of-care (POC) testing . Support both front office (scheduling, records) and back office (clinical support) operations. Maintain accurate
electronic medical records (EMR) . Deliver health education and support community outreach as needed. Qualifications Minimum
3 years of medical assistant experience
(in addition to externship). Medical Assistant Certification
strongly preferred. Experience with
phlebotomy/venipuncture
and
EMR
systems required. Prior
occupational health experience
preferred. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and computer proficiency. Commitment to health education and patient outreach. Required Skills Front/back office experience Phlebotomy EKG Point-of-care testing (POC) Scheduling & patient rooming Taking vitals BLS or CPR certification
