Job Title: General Production Worker
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Production Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling or installing various truck body parts while ensuring high-quality and safe production standards are met. If you are mechanically inclined and skilled with hand, air, and power tools, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities
Assemble or install various truck body parts.
Utilize mechanical skills with hand, air, and power tools.
Maintain meticulous attention to detail and ensure proficient work.
Function as a team member, learning, performing, and rotating to other workstations.
Meet acceptable quality, quantity, performance, and safety standards.
Obtain supplies and parts required for the job.
Assist other employees when assembly work is not required.
Clean department and maintain neatness in surrounding work areas.
Assist the team in 5S advancements and the implementation of Lean Principles.
Essential Skills
Production and assembly experience.
General labor proficiency.
Minimum of 12 months manufacturing experience in an Automotive, RV, or Boat manufacturer preferred.
Ability to use ladders, enter and exit trucks, and perform physical tasks such as reaching, bending, twisting, squatting, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Proficiency with air and electric powered tools such as drills, torque wrenches, air tools, etc.
Ability to read and understand work orders, directions, charts, forms, and safety regulations.
Capability to use and read various gauges accurately.
Strong team collaboration skills.
Ability to read a tape measure to a sixteenth (1/16) of an inch.
Fluency in advanced print reading with limited information.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Basic computer skills.
Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
Experience in a team setting as well as the ability to work individually.
Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
