In this strategic, hands-on role, you will lead major HRIS initiatives, manage vendor partnerships, and spearhead the integration of AI and automation within the HR technology landscape. You’ll serve as the primary architect and problem-solver for complex system challenges, guiding cross-functional teams, delivering scalable solutions, and ensuring the stability and growth of our HR systems.As a Lead Analyst, you will be responsible for end-to-end Workday configuration, process optimization, and delivering scalable solutions that meet evolving business needs. You’ll partner closely with HR, IT, and business stakeholders to streamline workflows, implement new functionality, and ensure a seamless Workday experience for users across the organization.This is an individual contributor role with no direct people management, but requires strong leadership capabilities in guiding cross-functional teams, managing vendors, and owning complex project delivery.****Key Responsibilities******Workday Configuration & Operational Support*** Lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday modules including Core HCM, Absence, Recruiting, Talent Management, Time Tracking, Benefits, and Advanced Compensation.* Maintain and enhance business processes, eligibility rules, condition logic, calculated fields, and validations to support ongoing business requirements.* Create and maintain advanced reports, dashboards, and analytics to support HR and business stakeholders.* Manage data loads (EIBs) and integration troubleshooting to ensure accuracy and integrity across systems.* Serve as a primary escalation point for Tier 1–3 Workday issues; resolve or coordinate with internal and external partners as needed.* Support Workday release management by leading regression testing, documentation, and stakeholder communication during system updates.****AI Integration & Innovation***** Identify and lead initiatives to introduce AI-powered and automated solutions across the HR technology stack.* Partner with cross-functional teams to evaluate, pilot, and implement tools that enhance HR efficiency, data quality, and the employee experience.* Stay current on emerging trends in AI and HR technology, providing strategic recommendations to drive continuous improvement.****Project Delivery & Vendor Management***** Lead end-to-end HRIS projects such as module implementations, enhancements, and systems integrations, owning project planning, stakeholder alignment, risk mitigation, and execution.* Coordinate with external vendors, consultants, and technical partners to deliver on project goals, ensure system performance, and manage support escalations.* Own system documentation, change tracking, and project communication to ensure transparency and continuity across stakeholders.* Identify opportunities to streamline or automate existing processes using Workday or complementary tools, aligning enhancements with long-term HR strategy and best practices.****Stakeholder Partnership & Change Enablement***** Collaborate with HR, IT, Legal, and other departments to gather requirements, identify gaps, and translate business needs into effective system solutions.* Drive change management efforts for new system features or processes, including communications, training, and stakeholder engagement.* Develop and deliver documentation, job aids, and user training to support adoption and self-service enablement across the HR team and broader organization.****Qualifications***** Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.* 7–10 years of HRIS experience, with 4+ years of hands-on Workday configuration across multiple modules.* Strong understanding of end-to-end HR processes (hire to retire), including global data requirements and compliance needs.* Proven experience in leading HRIS projects, managing vendors, and collaborating cross-functionally without direct authority.* Proficiency in Workday business process configuration, reporting, integrations (EIB), and calculated fields.* Experience with data governance, system audits, and maintaining compliance standards in HR systems.* Demonstrated interest or experience in AI, automation, or advanced HR technology.* Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.* Workday Pro certification(s) or relevant training a plus.* Experience working in fast-paced, matrixed, or global environments.**The Longer Story:**OutSystems enables enterprise teams to build AI-powered applications and agents that reduce manual work, streamline internal operations, and accelerate impact.
