We are seeking a psychiatrist who is passionate about providing high quality care to children, adolescents and adults.
About The Role As a psychiatrist, you’ll use your training, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills in providing compassionate care for patients. Responsibilities include:
Provides short and long term psychotherapy and the concurrent use of medications for patients throughout the age spectrum including medication monitoring and adjustment and timely refills
Establishes a database on patients by obtaining an appropriate health, developmental and psychosocial history, as well as through screening and diagnostic procedures and tests
Educates patients and families about mental health and emotional disorders
Develops and implements individualized treatment plans that may include psychotherapy, medication and behavioral interventions
Diagnoses mental illnesses based on assessment
You will be primarily based at our Blasdell location, 4233 Lake Ave in Blasdell.

Education And Skills To Be a Psychiatrist
Must be a graduate of a four (4) year recognized medical school; must have completed residency in appropriate field
Must possess a current NYS physician license and be a Board eligible/certified in field of specialty

What We Offer Compensation: $265,000 - $285,000 annually (based on a full-time, 40 hour work week)
Individual compensation is based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other position related components
Benefits: You’ll have options for medical, dental, life, and supplemental insurance. We also offer a 403b match, health savings accounts with employer contribution, wellbeing programs, continuing education opportunities, generous paid time off, holidays.
Tuition Reimbursement Potential: Our FQHC status provides a unique opportunity for tuition reimbursement for Nurse Practitioners, up to $50,000 for a full time commitment and up to $25,000 for a part time commitment. A two-year commitment to serve at a FQHC is required. This tuition reimbursement program requires application and is not guaranteed.
