The Department of Surgery, Division of Dermatology, is seeking a dynamic, board-certified or eligible Dermatologist to meet the needs of our growing program in Southern California. The division provides excellence in general dermatology, cutaneous oncology, cutaneous lymphoma, and onco-dermatology care. City of Hope is a top comprehensive cancer center in the United States with a national presence, notable for conducting more than 800 bone marrow transplants annually. The Dermatologist will provide patient-centered care in collaboration with a world-class multidisciplinary team of specialists. This is a full-time position reporting to the Division Chief of Dermatology. Responsibilities
Clinical site in Duarte, CA Establish and expand a referral base in Dermatology in the region Collaborate with colleagues in a collaborative team environment, with APP support Identify opportunities for program growth in graft-versus-host disease, cutaneous lymphoma, advanced skin cancers, adverse reactions to cancer treatment, and primary care dermatology for cancer survivors Engage in research opportunities (basic science, translational, health outcomes) for candidates with interest Provide patient-centered care in a state-of-the-art outpatient clinic facility in coordination with an established multidisciplinary team of physicians and nurses Qualifications
Completed residency training in Dermatology and board eligible/certified by the American Board of Dermatology Academic record consistent with appointment at Assistant or Associate or Professor level at City of Hope Eligible to obtain or hold an active California medical license MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent degree Position Benefits
Excellent benefits package, including a generous retirement contribution plan Relocation assistance may be available Salary Range: $350K - $500K.
