PURPOSE

The Admissions Specialist IV, under minimal supervision, provides customer service to students, faculty, and staff through various means of communication. Offers information regarding university services and information related to admissions, academics, registration procedures, advising services, residency, transcripts, academic programs, and financial aid.

The assisting of uploading of electronic files and other electronically delivered test scores , pushing applications, and printing letters .

DESCRIPTION

Functional Area 1: Operations

Percent Effort: 65%

Manage the document Imaging (Laserfiche) Program. Maintain scanning and profiling and document imaging standards that support accuracy and efficiency. Review and coordinate the correction of document imaging errors. Review imaging processes and standards as needed.

Oversee the daily collection and distribution of all incoming documents, both hard copy and electronic mail.

Disseminate admission documents to appropriate staff for processing.

Assignments encourage workflow efficiency and accuracy.

Customer service – answer incoming phone calls and respond to department email inquiries.

Functional Area 2: Operations

Percent Effort: 30%

Assist with pushing applications daily

Assist with printing letters daily

Assist with diagnostic Banner testing

Assist with auditing student records using Argos reports

Upload/Process the electronic files and other additional electronically delivered test scores into our student information system.

Functional Area 3: Support

Percent Effort: 5%

Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Associate degree

Five (5) years of related experience

Additional education may be considered as a substitution for the minimum experience requirements.

Bachelors degree and three (3) years of related work experience

Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Strong verbal and written communication skills

Work beyond normal office hours and/or work on weekends periodically .

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience working in higher education.

Experience working with Banner, Laserfiche, and Argos.

SALARY: $19.23 Hourly ($39,998.40 Annual, Approximately)
