Lead a dedicated team focused on advancing the health and well-being of children and their families. Drive growth and strategic development of the Division of Pediatric Adolescent Medicine; provide mentorship through the fellowship program. Collaborate with Adolescent Medicine faculty to shape clinical care, education, research, and community service missions. Partner with faculty in clinical practices at Children’s Wisconsin, in collaboration with MCW, to deliver exceptional care and lead alongside top pediatric doctors, advanced practice providers, and scientists. Lead mentorship and research initiatives in an academic environment within a premier medical institution. Collaborate with community youth-serving agencies and expand partnerships to support youth health and empowerment. The Ideal Candidate
Define vision and strategy to drive programmatic excellence aligned with the missions of Children’s Wisconsin Hospital, Children’s Specialty Group, and MCW. Thrive in a collaborative, matrixed environment across diverse teams and academic medical centers. Foster a culture of inclusion, accountability, and professionalism; oversee the Division’s finances responsibly. Recruit, retain, and develop a diverse, talented faculty; support career growth. As a key member of the Department of Pediatrics’ senior leadership team, the Chief will expand the division and cultivate new clinical and research collaborations. A strong passion for the division’s mission and a proven record of leadership, collaboration, and scholarly achievement are essential. About the Division of Pediatric Adolescent Medicine
The division improves adolescent health through high-quality outpatient care at multiple clinical locations in Milwaukee, focusing on prevention, medical care, and psychosocial needs. Our team provides specialized care for eating disorders, hormonal regulation, reproductive health, and support for incarcerated adolescents and young adults. We are expanding community outreach and services, including substance abuse counseling and treatment. About the Medical College of Wisconsin (MCW)

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications, experience, and skills: MD, DO, or foreign medical equivalent Successful completion of an accredited Pediatric or Medicine/Pediatric residency Fellowship-trained and Board Certified in Adolescent Medicine Eligibility for unrestricted licensure to practice medicine in Wisconsin Proven ability to cultivate a highly collaborative academic environment Demonstrated experience in medical education and administration with strong leadership and administrative capabilities Application Process
