Micron is seeking an imaginative and seasoned leader to take on the position of Director of Global Safety and Health. This role will involve crafting and implementing a comprehensive global strategy to safeguard the safety, health, and well-being of employees across all regions. The director will lead cross-functional teams, ensure adherence to international regulations, and cultivate a proactive safety culture throughout the organization. Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement a global safety and health strategy aligned with company goals and sustainability objectives. Program Development & Oversight: Develop and manage global safety programs, including hazard identification, risk assessment, and incident prevention. Compliance & Regulatory Affairs: Supervise and ensure adherence to safety and health regulations at the international, national, and local levels. Incident Management: Provide global oversight to investigations of safety incidents, conduct root cause analyses, and lead all aspects of corrective actions. Engaging with Collaborators: Work closely with site leaders, HR, legal, and operations to integrate safety and health into business processes. Coordinate global safety training programs. Establish benchmarks and dashboards to monitor safety performance Promoting psychological safety and open communication across all levels of the organization. Promoting a mentality of proactive risk management and shared responsibility. Supporting employee engagement through transparent leadership and recognition of safety excellence. Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health, Safety, Environmental Science, or related field Over a decade of advancing experience in health and safety, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership position on a global scale. Deep understanding of international safety regulations and standards. International travel required Preferred Qualifications

Master’s or equivalent experience Experience in the Semiconductor industry Proven ability to lead cross-cultural teams and drive global initiatives.
