Overview
Hematology/Oncology Physician opportunity in Clinton, IA with MercyOne. Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Oncologist to join a well-established practice located in Clinton, Iowa. Full-time position attached to the hospital with a strong support structure. Responsibilities
Split time between Hematology and Medical Oncology (approximately 30% Hematology / 70% Medical Oncology). See an average of about 30 patients per day (new visits allocated 30 minutes; follow-ups 15 minutes). Be supported by four RNs, a Medical Assistant, a CNA, and a receptionist. Inpatient infusion coverage supported by hospitalists; after-hours calls are minimal and by phone only. Collaborate within a professional, physician-led medical group; autonomy to build the practice within a cohesive team environment. Practice is adjacent to the hospital; onsite Radiation Oncology is an outreach of the University of Iowa. Qualifications
MD or DO Board Eligible or Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in Iowa and Illinois Current and unrestricted authority to prescribe and administer medications as needed Eligible to work in the United States (J-1 and H-1B candidates welcome to apply) Offer and Benefits
