Katie's Way Plus is seeking a dedicated and experienced
Psychiatrist
at our
El Paso, TX
location to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care for patients with mental health disorders and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive treatment. In this role, you'll conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans, administer medications and monitor patient responses, provide therapeutic interventions and support to patients and their families, and collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers to coordinate patient care, while maintaining accurate medical records and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. Responsibilities Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized care plans Administer medications and monitor patient responses Provide therapeutic interventions and support to patients and their families Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers to coordinate patient care Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations Qualifications Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution Board certification in Psychiatry Valid state medical license to practice Experience in providing patient care in a hospital or clinical setting Proficiency in HIPAA regulations and ethical standards Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively with diverse patient populations Nice-to-Have Skills Experience working with children and adolescents Expertise in PTSD care and trauma-informed therapy Knowledge of psychopharmacology for various mental health conditions Familiarity with cognitive behavioral therapy techniques Job Type: Contract or W2 Pay: Negotiable We offer flexibility to provide mutually convenient hours for the provider and our patients. Our clinics are typically open from 8a-5p. We are open to providers who wish to provide services on evenings and/or weekends remotely. Work Location: El Paso, TX. Why Join Us:
