As General Manager, you're at the helm of the restaurant. You'll lead the charge in creating an awesome guest experience, running smooth operations, and building a positive work culture alongside your AGMs and Department Managers.
Lead and train both general staff and Shift Leaders,
Conduct effective performance reviews,
Manage inventory and vendor relationships,
Place accurate product orders,
Facilitate Open Book Finance practices with your team,
Communicate staffing needs and work closely with the recruitment team,
Build and maintain schedules that work for both the team and the business,
Identify opportunities to improve store performance and put new systems into action.
To be a successful GM at Ian's Pizza, you'll need a baseline of experience.
4+ years of Assistant General Manager or General Manager experience in quick-service restaurants or other restaurants is preferred.
Experience working in and training individuals in a variety of restaurant departments (FOH and BOH, Delivery, Catering) and the ability to learn, perform, and train all general staff roles at a high level within the first 6 months of employment.
Food Manager (ServSafe or Learn2Serve) Certified OR able to complete the certification in the first 6 months of employment.
Safe Alcohol Server Training (ServSafe or Learn2Serve) Certified OR able to complete the certification in the first 6 months of employment.

Thorough understanding of how to drive sales, enforce proper food quality, interpret P&L statements, staffing, local store marketing, and sanitation.

Exercise good judgment, problem-solving, and initiative to get things done and plan ahead.

Other Qualification Requirements
Physical: Able to stand and walk for long periods. To bend, crouch, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Technology: Use or able to learn to use administrative tools such as Google Calendar, Gmail, Google Sheets, Dripos POS System, etc.
Communication: Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Language: English language proficiency is required. Being bilingual in Spanish is a major plus!
Transportation: Reliable transportation to and from the restaurant locations for a variety of shift times.
Age: Must be 18+ to apply due to the hours and equipment usage required.
Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to provide adequate identification documentation at Orientation and/or Day One.
General Manager Schedule
General Managers are salaried for 40 hours a week. Each week, you will spend about 10 hours in operations/on-shift and about 30 hours on administration, projects, and meetings.
Location
We are looking to bring on talented, dedicated managers. As we look to open a new pizza shop in 2026, we have both opportunities at new and existing locations.
