Provide at the elbow support to your perioperative nursing colleagues, anesthesia providers and support staff as you remove technology barriers and help keep everyone focused on the care of the patient. Work with perioperative leadership to continuously improve the quality of nursing documentation across all phases of the perioperative continuum of care. Master your Epic report development, interpretation and analysis skills as you work with your nursing colleagues to advance nursing EBP & Research across the Perioperative Division. Analyze data that is at the core of clinical and business decision-making. Develop expertise in using, one-to-one teaching and troubleshooting issues with Optime/Epic. Advocate for perioperative & perianesthesia nursing needs through participation in the Optime Super Users Group and other committees, groups and teams. Hone project management skills by taking on projects that are key to the success of the perioperative division. Education and Work Experience
Must possess a high school diploma or GED BS degree preferred 1-2 years of IT technology experience Requirements For This Position Include
2 years of Analyst experience required A Registered Nurse with Perioperative services experience is strongly preferred Licensure in Maryland as an RN, or eligible for licensure in Maryland, or a compact state Bachelor of Science in Nursing is necessary At least two years of computer proficiency and technical aptitude in various IT platforms Leadership experience in a specialty is strongly preferred Benefits
