Lead day-to-day management of project teams, staffing and development, and the financial and technical performance of projects. Develop and deliver on project scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules to achieve key stakeholder objectives. Provide motivation and direction to project teams, foster collaboration, and mentor other PMs and Project Engineers. Build strong relationships with internal teams and clients, ensuring successful delivery of advanced facilities construction projects. Manage multi-office projects and ensure adherence to safety culture from design through project execution. Engage in proposal development, estimating design services hours, and understanding client needs to develop effective solutions. Ensure alignment with Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management and Commissioning (EPCM) elements where applicable. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline; or equivalent experience in lieu of degree. At least 15 years of experience managing EPCM projects related to industrial facilities, with a minimum of 5 years in Life Science. Ability to mentor other PMs and Project Engineers; strong safety culture and design safety awareness. Experience in the execution of multi-office projects; general engineering knowledge key to Life Science projects (infrastructure, process, utilities, and support facilities). Strong experience in design project cost management, including forecasting, earned value, and meeting design budgets. Experience in developing proposals, estimating design services hours, and working with clients to meet their needs. Program Management experience including Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management and Commissioning (EPCM). Preferred but not mandatory: CCM, PE, PMP or Architect license/certification. Strong working knowledge in design and construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, environmental and LEED applications, team building, and client relationship management. At least 5 years of experience with design of Life Science facilities with construction value >$500 million; travel to project locations for short visits (including potentially international). Strong existing relationships with Life Science clients; prior field experience is helpful. Benefits and Other Information
