Master’s degree from an accredited college or university. New Jersey Standard Career Technical Education (CTE) Teaching Certificate. Three (3) years successful teaching experience in Vocational Ed. Demonstrated knowledge of subject specialty and effective teaching methods. Ability to maintain a positive learning environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status. *As defined in

6A:9-9 Instructional certificates Basic Functions and Responsibilities

Management and Coaching of Instructional Staff

Observe, coach, and evaluate faculty; provide ongoing professional development. Complete all Teach NJ Educator Effectiveness activities as per district guidelines. Mentor novice teachers. Monitor and support the expansion of school-based CTE programs. Ensure teachers are properly certified and students can obtain industry certifications. Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment

Lead and support CTE curriculum implementation. Review and approve lesson plans, assessments, and grades, ensuring alignment with State Standards. Demonstrate best practices through model lessons. Collaborate on curriculum development and student assessment strategies. Analyze student achievement data and recommend program adjustments. Student Life and Family Support

Foster a positive school climate. Engage families and community stakeholders. Support gifted and at-promise students with appropriate interventions. Monitor IEP and I&RS implementation for compliance. Organizational Leadership

Develop systems to monitor goals at various levels. Promote collaboration among staff. Communicate effectively to ensure success. Perform additional duties as assigned. Lead professional development for instructional staff. Reporting and Compensation
