Overview LHH is working with a construction company that is searching for a temporary Billing Specialist for their team. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of accounting experience and be comfortable in a high-volume setting. This position does offer a hybrid work schedule after training. You will work on a team and there will be training offered as well. However, the manager is looking for a candidate who can work independently and self-manage their workload. Responsibilities

Process incoming payments and verify accuracy against invoices.

Monitor accounts to identify outstanding balances and follow up on overdue payments.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer account records.

Generate and distribute regular statements and collection letters.

Work closely with other departments to resolve billing discrepancies.

Reconcile AR ledger and assist with month-end closing procedures.

Prepare reports on account status and collection efforts for management.

Respond to customer inquiries regarding account balances and payment terms.

Support audits and assist with documentation requests.

Qualifications

Two or more years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting.

Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Problem-solving skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Employment Details

Temporary for six months.

Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Hybrid after training in Seattle, WA office.

Pay Details:

$31.00 to $33.00 per hour
