Eckert & Associates is a small and personalized woman owned Democratic fundraising firm that represents incumbent Members of Congress, Congressional candidates, and other Democratic candidates. You will have the opportunity to work with Members of Congress, candidates, and their staff to assist in their fundraising efforts. You will work closely with the principal and the clients of this small firm.
Position will include but not limited to:
Responsible for maintenance of all financial records for clients and the firm
Handling of all contributions in-house and accounting
Coordination with client compliance teams
Continuous updating of firm’s database
Coordination with clients on updating records
Call Time Staffing, Preparation, and Follow Up (with Members of Congress)
Donor Research
Research and assistance of event and meeting briefings
Research for contribution history comparison projects
Support the Finance Director, and Principal of the firm
Drafting, coordinating, and sending event notifications
Coordination of Scheduling Events, Meetings and Calls
Event Planning & Staffing
Secure and coordinate with event locations, catering and event staff
Day-of event logistics, set up and staffing as needed
Staffing Members of Congress at fundraisers and meetings benefiting their campaign
1 year’s campaign/Hill experience – preference is for experience in fundraising.
Preferred, but not required:
Knowledge of the political and legislative process
Knowledge and fluency in NGP
Required:
Strong work ethic and ability to work independently.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills
