SNC's Military Fellowship Program partners with programs such as SkillBridge and Hiring Our Heroes to provide fellowship opportunities to service members transitioning to the civilian workforce. These fellowships include up to six months of on-the-job industry training for eligible service members. During this time, participants gain valuable work experience in the civilian sector and build professional networks as they prepare for their transition to full-time civilian work.
NOTE: You must be currently serving on active duty to be eligible for this fellowship program. This program is not for veterans who have already separated from the military.
As a Contracts Manager, you will be using your skills and expertise to administer, extend, negotiate, and terminate our standard and non-standard contracts. You'll be responsible for examining estimates of material, equipment services, production costs, performance requirements, and delivery schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness. You'll advise management of contractual rights and obligations and ensure our contracting activities provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment.

Responsibilities:
Negotiate, award, and administer contracts through closure Review and evaluate Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for new efforts and for modifications to existing contracts Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications. Advise management on contractual rights, obligations, and potential risks. Manage contract modifications, renewals, and terminations. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contract terms are clearly understood and adhered to. Monitor contract performance and compliance, identifying issues and proposing solutions. Support audits and compliance reviews by providing necessary documentation and information. Comply with all FAR, DFAR, and other customer Acquisition Policies for each acquisition Qualifications You Must Have:
Currently serving as active duty military and be eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program Typically 2-4+ years of progressive contracts experience, which includes 0-2+ years of management experience Bachelor's degree in a related field of study A higher level degree may substitute for experience Familiarity with government contract requirements and FAR/DFAR regulations Proven experience in negotiating and awarding contracts Effective verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work well with others Ability to travel at least 10 Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience within the Aerospace & Defense Industry Certification in contract management or the US Government equivalent Working level knowledge and understanding of FAR and DFAR regulations Experience with multiple USG contract @types - FFP, FPIF, CPIF, CPFF, etc. Strong understanding of contract law and regulations Experience in Government contracting SNC is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to an environment free of discrimination.
