Colorectal Surgeon position at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health in Seattle, WA. Full-time, board-eligible or board-certified colorectal surgeon to join a quaternary care center within a large regional health system. Join an experienced, high-performing team dedicated to high-quality, compassionate, and comprehensive care for patients with colorectal diseases and disorders. You will participate in medical education, clinical research, and multidisciplinary care teams. Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive surgical care across the full spectrum of colorectal disease, including colon, rectal, and anal cancer; inflammatory bowel disease; diverticulitis; pelvic organ prolapse and fecal incontinence; and complex anorectal conditions. Collaborate with an experienced team and participate in education of medical students, residents, fellows, and other trainees. Engage in multidisciplinary care and clinical research, including tumor boards and collaboration with related programs (IBD, pelvic floor disorders, colorectal cancer). Contribute to a robust practice with mentors and access to advanced robotic, laparoscopic, and open techniques. Position Highlights

Established referral patterns with a high volume of complex abdominal, pelvic, and anorectal procedures. Three board-certified colorectal surgeon partners with expertise in robotic, laparoscopic, and open techniques offering mentorship. Team supported by two APPs, an RN, three surgical schedulers, and two procedural MAs. Interdisciplinary programs including the only NAPRC-accredited colorectal cancer program in Seattle with weekly tumor boards, program coordinators, patient navigators, and access to a clinical trial portfolio. Renowned IBD program with dedicated specialists, nurses, pharmacists, and weekly multidisciplinary conferences. Comprehensive pelvic floor program with integrated services across gastroenterology, gynecology, urogynecology, physical therapy, and diagnostics. Affiliation with a fully accredited general surgery residency program. Active academic environment with medical students, APP students, and fellows; opportunities for CME and educational leadership. Collaboration with Benaroya Research Institute to support various types of research. Job Requirements

Board-eligible or board-certified in Colon and Rectal Surgery. Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Washington. DEA license with full prescriptive authority. Locations: Virginia Mason Medical Center and two ambulatory surgery centers; clinics in downtown Seattle and regional campuses. Initial salary range: $410,931 to $503,652 (25th-50th percentile for surgeon productivity), with additional consideration for experience, research, education, and administrative contributions. After the salary guarantee period, compensation is based on work RVU productivity. Weekly schedule includes dedicated OR and clinic time, with options for academic/flex day, colonoscopy and/or high-resolution anoscopy practice contributions. Where You'll Work
