The benefits of being a Gold's Gym employee include: Work in a fun environment with great people Great benefits John Hancock 401k Paid Time off Aflac Supplemental Insurance Free gym memberships and discounts Opportunities to learn and grow within the company We are looking for talented individuals who: Have a positive, upbeat, and outgoing attitude Are passionate about hospitality and excellence for our members Can work in a dynamic, fast-paced, goal-oriented environment without sacrificing quality of service Have fitness industry experience (preferred) Love to constantly learn and grow Responsibilities include: Assemble and manage a fully engaged and high-performing membership team Ensure that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhere to approved budgets Enforce all club rules, policies, and promote proper execution of all procedures Keep the club fully staffed through review of applications, interviewing, and making hiring recommendations Drive results and continuous improvement in Service and Fitness categories Plan, organize, and coordinate execution of daily/weekly/monthly club functions Recruit, hire, train, develop, and nurture friendly and inclusive team members Train, develop, and mentor club leaders through observing, coaching, accountability, and showing them what "unbelievable" looks like Problem-solve obstacles with and for your team Guide department leaders in establishing goals, brainstorming application of club strategies, and achieving club and career goals Instill a sense of common responsibility and teamwork across club functions Collaborate with internal and external partners to continuously grow our member community MUST HAVES: 3-5 years of progressive management experience supervising 3-10 employees 5-7 years of broad retail/hospitality/operations industry experience Experience managing P&L and trend reports and demonstrated math and analytical / ratio skills Success in creating new teams and/or rebuilding teams in a collaborative environment Phenomenal communication skills, oral and written, with a heavy emphasis on listening Experience in turning around operationally and/or financially deficient departments or teams Demonstrated success managing through defined strategy and delegation A High School diploma or equivalent is required, but we'd love to see a Bachelor's degree Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification required Bilingual Preferred This role requires the ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs. Standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods of time and ensuring a professional demeanor, clear communication, and appearance in a clean uniform are also required. EEO Statement:
