Full-time The Senior Flammability Engineer is responsible for leading projects and guiding the creation of flammability substantiation reports. This includes reviewing technical specifications, participating in design reviews, preparing flammability test plans and reports, and conducting peer reviews. The role also involves coordinating with design engineers, program managers, and production managers, as well as reviewing engineering drawings and testing protocols. Reviews all relevant technical specifications for the project Participates in design reviews and prepares flammability substantiation documents Conducts peer reviews of test plans and reports for quality and accuracy Coordinates new program resources and reviews engineering drawings Responsible for tracking deliverables and maintaining the flammability database Requirements

BS or higher in Mechanical, Chemical or Materials Engineering or equivalent training, preferred 5-8 years in aerospace flammability Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, AutoCAD, Microsoft Access, Microsoft PowerPoint Proven ability to lead others, provide guided direction and feedback Project Management, Troubleshooting/problem solving, and ability to work independently or within a team Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and understanding of customer's expectations Working Conditions
