Technical Sourcer, Engineering
This role will be based in San Francisco, Mountain View or Sunnyvale CA location. At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. We are seeking a dynamic Technical Sourcer to join our Engineering Recruiting team. In this role, you will play a critical part in identifying, screening, and hiring qualified candidates who align with LinkedIn's mission and values. You will be responsible for sourcing passive candidates and consistently cultivating a pipeline of best-in-class talent for LinkedIn through innovative outreach methods. You will work to reduce the time it takes to fill each position while continually striving to provide a positive experience for both candidates and hiring teams. Your expertise in technical recruiting will help us build a diverse pipeline of best-in-class talent, ensuring that we remain at the forefront of innovation. Responsibilities: Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract engineering talent. Partner with both Engineering and Recruiting Teams to plan, implement, and execute various sourcing strategies. Source, engage, and nurture passive talent through various tools including Linkedin Recruiter, Boolean Searches and alternative search techniques used to identify qualified candidates. Conduct thorough screenings of candidates to assess their technical skills and overall suitability for the role. Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their specific needs and preferences, providing them with guidance on market trends and competitive salary benchmarks. Analyze and report on recruitment metrics to identify areas for improvement. Implement innovative strategies to reduce time-to-fill for open positions while enhancing the overall candidate experience. Champion LinkedIn's employer brand in the engineering community and evangelize the LinkedIn Story to candidates. Promote diversity, inclusion & belonging in hiring practices by ensuring that the recruitment process is inclusive and equitable for all candidates. Stay informed about industry trends, competitor hiring practices, and emerging technologies to continuously refine our recruitment strategies and attract the best talent. Ensure data integrity within LinkedIn's Applicant Tracking System and LinkedIn Recruiter. Basic Qualifications: BA/BS degree in a related field or equivalent work experience 3+ years of experience in recruiting or talent acquisition Preferred Qualifications: Proven experience as a Technical Sourcer, preferably in systems, infrastructure, or technology. Strong understanding of technical roles, skill sets, and the nuances of recruiting in the engineering field. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring managers. Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Analytical skills with ability to create, measure, and scale the right workflow between candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team. A proactive mindset with a passion for talent acquisition and a commitment to continuous improvement. The pay range for this role is $90,000 to $146,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, stock, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
