Overview
The Solutions Architect supports one or more product teams by designing solutions that meet the needs of Rotary International’s external and internal products. The architect is a technology leader responsible for architecting solutions for various business functions within Rotary. Collaborates with the Product Manager to exercise end-to-end accountability for the solution, ensuring quality outcomes while adhering to technology architecture standards. Drives the definition and evolution of the organization's solutions architecture by contributing to design patterns and guidelines. This position is Hybrid - Fully Flexible and expected to work from the World Headquarters office once per month to several times a week. The specific days in the office are determined by managers based on business requirements. Employees must live within reasonable commuting distance to Evanston, IL. Job Title:

Design and management of solution architectures spanning application, data and cloud infrastructure; collaborates closely with Enterprise Architecture and Development teams. Work on product technical design and feasibility assessments accounting for technical constraints. Design solutions that align with Rotary’s enterprise architecture and standards. Design, develop and implement components and templates in Sitecore. Ensure quality delivery by performing design reviews and code walkthroughs to ensure adherence to standards and security guidelines. Recommend best practices for the entire solution. Analyze project constraints to identify alternatives, mitigate risks, and conduct process re-engineering as necessary. Select the technology stack and perform resource evaluation. Provide architectural vision for new product or product increment and its ballpark estimate. You Will Have
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. 10+ years of progressive related work experience. Experience with front end development using C#, React, CSS, and HTML. Provide leadership and cross-functional digital product standards as applied throughout the product delivery teams. Collaborate with various domain experts to support strategic initiatives such as cloud adoption and participant experience. Experience in designing architectural standards in at least two of the following areas: Web development; Middleware Integration; Application development; Data Architecture. Ability to rapidly define target architectures in line with modern architecture and design best practices. Strong understanding of SDLC models including working in an Agile organization. Experience in negotiation and communication at a leadership level. Strong organizational, project and time management skills, and multi-tasking abilities. You Are Good At
Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Tackles problems with creativity and a positive attitude. Strong analytical and decision-making skills. Working closely with other product and technology teams to create solutions that support the product roadmap and business capabilities. Providing overall direction, guidance, and definition of IT architecture to effectively support the business strategy. Attention to detail and ability to develop solutions architecture roadmaps aligned with business capabilities, strategy, and goals. You Will Be Responsible For
