We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst II to develop analytics and reporting solutions that support corporate strategies, key initiatives, and operational efficiency. In this role, you’ll perform both quantitative and qualitative analysis to inform business decisions, communicate actionable insights, and deliver strategic recommendations that optimize outcomes across the organization. The pay range for this position in Western Washington varies between $81,900 – $116,550, and for Eastern Washington varies between $71,070 - $101,623. Washington Dental Service and its affiliates intend to offer the selected candidate a base pay within this range, dependent on job-related, non-discriminatory factors such as experience. Base pay will also be adjusted based on geographic location. Essential Responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and define reporting and analytics needs Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards, reports, and self-service analytics tools Translate complex data sets into clear, actionable insights that support strategic decisions Apply data visualization best practices to communicate information in intuitive, user-friendly formats Identify opportunities to standardize BI solutions across teams and business units with similar needs Perform ad-hoc analyses to support urgent business questions and provide decision-making insights Partner with Data Engineering to operationalize and maintain reliable data sources for analytics Monitor KPIs and business performance trends, offering data-driven recommendations for improvement Stay current with evolving BI tools, technologies, and data storytelling techniques Experience, skills, and education

4+ years of experience designing and delivering analytics solutions using agile or iterative methods Proficiency in SQL and experience delivering analytics on cloud-based data warehousing platforms such as Snowflake, including data modeling and integration Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, AWS QuickSight, Sigma Computing, or Excel Experience developing clear, actionable dashboards and reports for business users Familiarity with R or Python for data analysis (Python preferred) Strong ability to gather and translate business requirements across systems and teams Demonstrated success solving complex or ambiguous business problems through data Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with experience collaborating across technical and non-technical teams Washington Dental Service and its affiliates are Equal Opportunity employers.
