Q2 is seeking a
Senior Product Manager
who will be responsible for the strategic planning and roadmap creation and execution for an industry-changing fintech platform. You will work at a company with a powerful mission to build strong and diverse communities by strengthening their financial institutions. This position requires significant experience in commercial digital banking, specifically in commercial payments (such as ACH, Wire, RTP, and FedNow). You will act as a commercial banking expert to your customers, both internally and externally, and manage a set of high-quality solutions that meet business objectives in a flexible, collaborative, and rapidly changing environment. You should be highly motivated and capable of communicating and establishing credibility within the organization and with the customer community. If you are passionate about commercial banking and specifically payments, you are the right fit and can translate your point of view into requirements that deliver market solutions. Your work will directly impact the end-user experience by making it more intuitive and efficient. You should take a client-centric approach to product management and have demonstrated results driving rapid modifications from initial concepts to new and existing products. You will work with cross-departmental teams (Product, Sales, Marketing, Delivery, Support) and communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Responsibilities
Assist in driving roadmap and product strategy Proactively identify opportunities for new trends/features/products Perform research and provide industry expertise for product business cases and development Engage with product development teams to ensure new feature development meets market expectations Establish and track business cases for new and existing products Assess risk of value, feasibility, and usability as key factors to product success Communicate value and vision effectively with strong presentation skills Engage with clients and prospects through Relationship and Sales teams as needed to discuss roadmap and strategy Build relationships with Product, Sales, Marketing, Delivery and Support Champion end-user experience by integrating human interaction best practices and front-end design into each commercial feature Work with Product Owners to ensure security, availability, confidentiality, and privacy policies and controls are followed Deliver product acceptance criteria for development teams to ensure high quality and customer experience Collaborate with Release Management to develop release documentation and training materials Qualifications
Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Finance and a minimum of 8 years of related experience; or an advanced degree with 6+ years of experience; or equivalent related work experience Demonstrable previous experience in software product management Minimum 8 years in commercial banking; commercial digital solutions preferred Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills Strong teamwork, organization, and problem-resolution skills Excel and data analysis skills Self-starter with proven ability to deliver results with minimal assistance This position requires fluent written and oral communication in English.
