Position Summary
This position will play a critical role in framing business insights across Segments that enable Commercial leadership team to make effective decisions. This role will mostly interact with the Sales, Marketing and Brand Innovation teams while leveraging functional support from Operations and Sourcing Finance.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial Financial Analysis: Partner with the Commercial /Marketing team in analyzing Pricing/COGS/GP performance, identify volume/mix/ rate drivers, and uncover opportunities to improve topline performance.
Annual Operating Plan (AOP): Lead in preparing and executing the Operations AOP, ensuring alignment with business and commercial goals.
Forecasting & Budgeting: Develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts, providing clear, actionable recommendations to support operational decision-making.
Performance Reporting: Create and present regular financial and operational reports, translating data into insights that drive action.
Trade Funding/Spending: Hands on experience using/leveraging Trade systems and educating cross functional partners around funding/spending/accrual concepts.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a key link between finance and operations, ensuring financial insights are embedded in operational strategies.
People Management – Responsible for recruiting and managing Financial Analyst while supporting a successful collaboration with the broader finance team
Preferred (Not Required) – Experience with Innovation stage Gate process: If experienced, design and enhance reporting systems using tools such as Power BI and SQL to automate and improve data analysis capabilities around I2L (Idea to Launch)
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
10+years of progressive experience in Finance and or FP&A roles.
Proven experience supporting Commercial/Marketing teams.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, especially operations leadership.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
MBA or master’s in finance desirable
Leading or supporting ERP/system transformations or BI tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Hyperion, Power BI).
