Sacramento, CA (Hybrid – 3 days in-office, 2 days remote; additional office locations: San Leandro, CA & Denver, CO) Estimated Salary:
Range: $72,100 – $108,000 based on experience Job Overview: The Senior Financial Analyst plays a critical role in analyzing financial performance, supporting two regional teams within a Direct Store Delivery (DSD) structure. This position collaborates with business leaders and finance teams to provide financial insights, drive performance, and support strategic decision-making. The role blends reporting, forecasting, and analysis with a strong focus on continuous improvement and operational understanding. Key Responsibilities: Partner with regional finance teams on month-end close and financial reporting to ensure accurate P&L results. Deliver actionable insights to executive and finance leadership through advanced financial analysis and reporting. Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes. Identify and recommend opportunities to improve financial processes, metrics, and performance tracking. Perform ad-hoc financial modeling, variance analysis, and ROI evaluations. Develop and maintain financial dashboards and scorecards. Collaborate with sales and operations to monitor expenses and top-line growth against the Annual Operating Plan (AOP). Communicate financial milestones and drivers across the organization. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required. 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting. Strong skills in Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUPs, INDEX/MATCH, formulas; VBA a plus). Proficiency in SAP, PowerPoint, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Planning Analytics, etc.) preferred. Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Effective communicator and collaborator across departments. Base salary between $72,100 and $108,000 (depending on experience and location). Annual performance-based bonus eligibility.
