Patient Account Rep - Hosp Insurance Collections

A hospital cannot function well without an excellent Revenue Cycle department. The Revenue Cycle team at Hawai‘i Pacific Health manages the processes and technologies associated with the initial patient registration through the collection of the amounts due. Like an engine, the healthcare industry’s revenue cycle has many moving parts and the Revenue Cycle team is comprised of business minded, forward thinking, efficient and analytical people who are dedicated to building a high powered revenue management team that is vital and useful to the organization. If you are organized, meticulous and have a gift for accounts management, you could be the ideal candidate for this position. In this role you will perform billing and account follow-up activity for a generally fixed portion of the accounts receivable cycle. This includes: accurate and timely preparation and submission of claims and statements to third party payers and patients/guarantors; follow-up on accounts receivables with third party payers and patients to complete the insurance collection process; and handling third party payer and patient questions/concerns appropriately.
