Overview Hawai'i Pacific Health is a not-for-profit health care network with over 70 locations statewide including medical centers, clinics, physicians and other caregivers serving Hawai'i and the Pacific Region with high quality, compassionate care. If an operation’s finances are disorganized, it cannot carry out its mission effectively. This is why the Accounting department at Hawai‘i Pacific Health is so important. The department tracks revenue and expenditures, relays necessary financial reports and book-entering, maintains ledgers, processes and records revenues and prepares general purpose financial statements. Its oversight and guidance to other internal departments ensures that legal requirements, policies and procedures are all consistently applied to maintain the integrity of Hawai‘i Pacific Health’s finances.

Responsibilities Under the general direction of the Senior Accountant or designee, is responsible for a significant area of the financials (e.g. payroll, accounts receivable, physician benefits, GL operations, etc.) in combination with other GL duties. Implements and monitors control procedures to ensure accurate and timely accounting information.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field and/or equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Two (2) years accounting experience.
