DaVita is dynamic, growing and entrepreneurial. We are seeking a Division Vice President (DVP) who is an ambitious, experienced healthcare executive to guide the operations of our dialysis services based out of Indianapolis, Indiana. As the Skyline Vice President of Operations, you will manage a team of Regional Operations Directors and a Value-Based Care Market Director, overseeing ~65 clinics throughout Illinois with approximate annual revenues of $250MM and 650 teammates. The DVP provides strategic, tactical and team leadership, counsel and direction to the field management of DaVita Kidney Care to ensure safe, efficient, therapeutic and ethical patient care. This role identifies and develops strategic growth and integrated care opportunities, leads division performance, and collaborates with the GVP, leaders and business development teams to develop competitive strategies aligned with DaVita’s mission and values. We’re looking for an exceptional leader with a strong ownership mindset to improve the business and operationalize new ideas and insights. The DVP will engage at all levels of the enterprise and will be a key thought partner to the GVP, Finance, Strategy, Integrated Kidney Care, People Services and Business Development teams. Responsibilities
Complete accountability for 65 clinics, 650 teammates, including ~50 within the value-based care business, representing $250MM of P/L Lead the development of the team, from managers to direct patient care teammates, and inspire the team to provide high quality patient care Develop and implement strategic initiatives to maximize clinical outcomes and growth, including: Lead team to deliver the nation’s leading clinical outcomes in dialysis care Address top growth priorities by due diligence on clinic expansions, relocations, and where to build new clinics Maintain awareness of the assigned market and participate in internal and external business development meetings Cultivate physician and hospital relationships to generate medical director and joint venture partnerships with top organizations in the market Participate in the development and management of clinical operations and capital budgets Qualifications
Leadership of a multi-site operational business Minimum of 10 years’ progressive management experience required Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree strongly preferred Experience in healthcare preferred; value-based care is a plus Proven experience leading a large, high performing team Proven experience identifying and driving growth in your business Track record of fiscal and operating leadership; demonstrated financial expertise Proven ability to identify and define business problems and develop strategic and financial frameworks Proven success engaging with physicians preferred Philosophies that align with core values: Service Excellence, Integrity, Team, Continuous Improvement, Accountability, Fulfillment and Fun Thrives in a company that values compassionate culture and fast-paced entrepreneurial environment Travel up to 50% within market What you can expect when you join our Village
