Manager, Sales Development - Boston at Datadog. You will hire, mentor, develop, and grow a team of Sales Development Representatives. This role impacts one of the largest lines of business through prospect generation and sales pipeline and helps mold future Account Executives and leaders. What You’ll Do
Hire, oversee, and train a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDR) Ramp up new team members, teach needs assessment, strategic prospecting, and handling objections Motivate the team to exceed objectives through coaching, sharing results, and incentives Provide growth opportunities for SDRs to become full-cycle sales representatives Develop and maintain accurate team forecasts for the senior leadership team Who You Are
Experienced in hi-tech direct sales Motivated by helping people grow Familiar with SaaS/Cloud and Salesforce Proven written and verbal communication Passionate about coaching, mentorship, and team management Able to work cross-functionally with strong organization and time management Datadog values people from all walks of life.
