Inside Higher Ed The Medical Dosimetrist functions as an integral member of the Department of Radiation Medicine. The team provides patient care and supportive services that are directed towards achievement of patient care outcomes through the integrated skills of all team members in the Department. Position Summary: The Medical Dosimetrist in the Department of Radiation Medicine is a member of the treatment planning team who measures, generates radiation dose distributions and calculations. Minimum Education Required Bachelor's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in science and extensive experience in radiation planning, or registered Radiation Therapist with experience in dosimetry, or a BS in physical or biologic sciences. Proton planning experience preferred. Certified in Medical Dosimetry required, or certification needs to be completed within two years of hire. Additional Information: These positions will support the Proton or Photon Center at West Campus Ambulatory.
