Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) - Blood Bank Transfusion Services - Full Time, Days - (8-HRS)
Stanford Health Care is seeking a Clinical Lab Scientist (CLS) to join their Blood Bank Transfusion Services team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical laboratory tests and be able to perform a wide range of tests used to diagnose, treat, and prevent disease. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately performing and completing laboratory analysis on body fluids, adhering to safety and regulatory requirements, and maintaining a current understanding of procedures used in the assigned laboratory section. Responsibilities
Perform laboratory tests of varying complexity using standard procedures Record and analyze test results to validate accuracy and quality Maintain supply inventory and perform routine preventative maintenance Demonstrate technical proficiency in all areas of assigned responsibility Keep abreast of new technical developments and acquire necessary skills to adapt to technological changes Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a work-related discipline One year of progressively responsible and directly related work experience Ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and interpret results Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulatory requirements related to areas of functional responsibility Licenses and Certifications
