Are you ready to make an impact? The Director of Corporate Strategy partners with the senior most executive leaders in the organization to develop and execute West Monroe's strategic vision, driving growth, and enhancing our market position. This role involves leading strategic planning, analyzing market trends, identifying opportunities, and guiding practice teams to execute the strategic plan and associated initiatives. The Director of Corporate Strategy reports to the Chief Commercial Officer and works closely with the CEO, President, CFO, and the Board to drive growth, competitive advantage, and achievement of business objectives. This role requires the candidate that can be self-guided, produce board-ready work products, execute strategic programming, and build trusted relationships with all key stakeholders. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning and Development: Develop and implement a strategic planning framework for the enterprise. Partner with the president, go to market teams, and finance to guide practices through and manage the end-to-end strategic planning process. Lead the development and execution of the company's strategic plan, aligning it with business objectives and market opportunities. Collaborate with executive leadership to recommend and shape priorities in alignment with the strategic direction, to include how the organization will leverage AI to drive growth, operational efficiency, customer experience, and innovation. Develop business case(s) for growth initiatives in partnership with Finance and other key stakeholders. Conduct market, client, and competitive analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and potential disruptions. Build this analysis into insights to make informed recommendations that guide the organization on strategic decisions and investments. Strategic Execution: Independently lead strategic projects across various areas, such as new growth opportunities, identification of “big bets,” and market expansion. Develop and execute strategic initiatives, working with relevant stakeholders across the organization to ensure successful implementation. Manage corporate growth initiatives, to include aligning on Shared Services priorities. In partnership with strategic finance, evaluate the execution and progress of strategic initiatives, proactively identifying risks and recommending mitigation plans. Develop executive and board level work products. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication: Collaborate with executive leadership, the Board, and practice leadership to socialize and communicate strategic plans and progress. Partner closely with West Monroe’s finance function to invest behind the right strategic priorities. Partner closely with the president and West Monroe’s go to market function to ensure business unit level strategies align to corporate strategy priorities. Develop analysis, presentations and communication materials that convey strategic insights and recommendations to both internal and external audiences. Prepare firmwide communications on strategic vision, execution plans, and progress against the firmwide strategic direction. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to ensure alignment and execution. Skills And Qualifications 7-12 years at a top-tier consulting firm or other professional services firm Proven track record in a strategic consulting function or corporate strategy role for high-growth business models, to include incorporating data modernization and AI into corporate strategies and growth initiatives Strategic thinking and analysis with a keen ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights. Deep understanding of business principles, financial concepts, and industry dynamics. Proven ability to conduct thorough market and competitive analysis for current and emerging trends; synthesizing information to provide insights and recommendations. Experience in project management, with the ability to successfully manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, manage stakeholders, and meet deadlines. Ability to analyze complex financial and operational data to drive strategic recommendations, including advanced Excel-based modeling, business case development, and scenario analysis Familiarity with AI, digital, and/or technology driven businesses; ability to translate technical capabilities into strategic value Strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex data and ideas to inform and influence senior leaders. Exceptional facilitation skills with the ability to lead complex discussions and working sessions with senior executives and cross-organization teams, driving alignment, surfacing risks, and leading the participants to clear outcomes Strong executive presence, with the ability to build positive working relationships and confidently speak to executive leaders as well as the Board. Strong stakeholder management with ability to navigate executive and senior leaders with differing perspectives. Ability to move effortlessly from strategy to execution, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves and get things done! Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business, Finance, Marketing), with an MBA or other advanced degree preferred. Based on pay transparency guidelines, a reasonable expectation for the salary range for this role is $200,600—$250,700 USD. West Monroe is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
