The
Director of Product Innovation
will be instrumental in shaping and executing Naterra’s long-term product innovation strategy, driving growth across skincare, personal care, and baby care categories. This leader will guide a team that oversees product development by partnering closely with suppliers and manufacturing partners to source the latest formulas, packaging technologies, and product concepts. By collaborating with Brand Marketing, Consumer insights and Suppliers, the Director will ensure that Naterra’s product pipeline reflects the company’s strategic vision. This role requires a proactive leader with proven CPG experience who thrives in a fast-moving, agile environment and can balance strategic foresight with operational excellence in project management, cross-functional collaboration, and team leadership. This is not a remote or hybrid role. Please note that the person in this role will be required to work in-office at our Coppell, TX location 5-days per week. Drive the long-term innovation strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with Naterra’s brands vision and growth priorities, based on trends, insights and market data. Lead the product innovation pipeline, ensuring a balance between short-term wins and long-term growth platforms. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Product Innovation Managers, creating a culture of accountability, curiosity, and performance. Ensure the team produces high-quality innovation briefs and delivers on business objectives. Act as the central orchestrator across internal teams and external partners to bring new formulas, packaging, and technologies into the Naterra portfolio. Partner with supplier R&D labs to secure the newest innovations and adapt them for commercial success. Stay attuned to the competitive landscape and adjacent categories, leveraging emerging technologies to inform proactive innovation Partner with Regulatory and Quality teams to ensure all innovations meet safety, compliance, and sustainability standards. Translate consumer insights, trends, and category dynamics into breakthrough product opportunities based on market data. Partner closely with the Integrated Innovation Management team (Project management) to ensure milestones, stage gates, and launches are flawlessly executed. Build strong working relationships with Marketing, Supply Chain, Sales, and Finance to ensure alignment from concept through commercialization. Implement and enforce Product Innovation Review processes, including preparation for leadership Gate meetings. Oversee budgets, resources, and timelines, ensuring all launches are delivered on time and within cost targets. Deliver on KPIs including margin achievement, speed-to-market, innovation success rate, and portfolio profitability. Identify and resolve obstacles early, creating contingency plans to maintain business continuity and launch readiness. Seniority level
