Location: QUINNIPIAC UNIVERSITY - NORTH HAVEN, CT Salary: $65,000 - $75,000 Other Forms of Compensation: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K, PTO Chartwells Higher Education Dining Services is seeking a Residential Dining Director II at Quinnipiac University in North Haven, CT. This role involves advising and providing hands-on support in the day-to-day operations and financial success of one or more dining locations on campus, adhering to contract guidelines, Health Department regulations, company standards, and expectations for food quality, freshness, and presentation. With Chartwells growth, there is potential for professional advancement and an immediate impact on our food service operations. Key Responsibilities

Supervise the hiring, training, and development of staff to uphold excellence in service and food quality. Maintain client and customer happiness by ensuring food quality and customer service standards are met consistently. Prepare and complete all vital daily, weekly, and financial reports, including those related to food and labor costs. Ensure compliance with quality and food safety standards to guarantee the health and safety of customers. Foster strong client relationships to align programs with their objectives, driving happiness and retention. Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient functioning of dining service operations. Preferred Qualifications

Associate degree preferred. Five or more years of operational food service management experience. Knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, marketing, and presentation. Strong leadership abilities with experience in supervising and developing staff. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively. Outstanding customer service skills with a dedication to maintaining high standards of quality. Proficiency in preparing and analyzing financial reports. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Experience with computers; ServSafe Certified. About Chartwells Higher Education
