Description Leads and manages warehouse operations team across multiple shifts to ensure employee safety and operational efficiency. Oversees shipping, receiving, material movements & storage and schedule adherence; supports a culture of continuous improvement in labor efficiency, service levels, housekeeping and inventory transactional integrity. Requirements

Creates a positive and proactive safety culture. Demonstrates strong commitment and leadership to providing a sustainable, safe, and healthful work environment. Ensures full compliance with all applicable company and regulatory environmental, health and safety requirements. Promotes, supports and ensures compliance with all food safety and quality practices, policies, and procedures. Develops and implements all departmental standard operating procedures. Collaborates with HR to ensure adequate staffing levels and leads programs & initiatives to ensure employee development and training, employee engagement efforts, performance assessments and overall employee retention efforts. Leads the warehouse supervisors and group leads in achieving operational efficiency, leadership development, housekeeping and service level improvement programs. Ensures timely and accurate completion of month end close activities and procedures. Leads projects for continuous improvement and cost savings projects within the department. Establishes and monitors departmental KPI’s. Identifies and resolves all inventory related problems in a timely manner utilizing inventory management software systems (Ex: QAD, Whistle and Coolearth). Manages month-end requirements with respect to inventory, inventory management systems, and receipts. Manages inventory overflow capacity, warehouse capacity forecasting, and inventory balance. Performs routine inspections to ensure the warehouse is adhering to all policies, procedures, and regulations, including food safety, forklift certifications, and OSHA requirements. Schedules and ensures audit of Ingredient Room Spice Mix operation. Resolve challenges with transportation providers and suppliers as needed. Develops and maintains relationships with outside storage facilities. Manages allocation of inventory with daily production work orders and review variances with Finance. Manages shared inventory space with UniSea Cold Storage. Maintains communication with other departments and UniSea Cold Storage concerning priorities in the inventory and receiving process. Manages inventory of supplies for Production and Sanitation operations. Maintains dry warehouse and chilled storage in a safe, orderly, and clean condition. Manages cycle counting program to ensure 99.5% accuracy. Manages dry ingredients and packaging receipts, both physically and in the warehouse management system. Manages warehouse audits (BRC, MSC, Customer), inspections, and processes. Implements directives pertaining to the Unisea/King & Prince Seafood relationship via the Director of Logistics and the Redmond Plant Manager. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications

High school diploma/GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. At least 3 years of warehouse experience in a leadership role Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency with warehouse management systems and MS office applications Benefits
