We are leaders in Secrets detection technology and help customers avoid secrets leakage across code repositories and internal systems. Our solutions are used by more than 600K developers worldwide, ranked the most popular AppSec tool on Github and the easiest SAST software on G2. We are growing fast and looking for talent. Our typical customers are companies with hundreds to thousands of developers leveraging services like SaaS applications, cloud infrastructure, or internal microservices, and who are mature in DevOps and Cloud adoption. Prospects and customers are highly technical: Software Development and Ops teams, Application Security, Threat Response, etc. We’re looking for a technical Sales Engineer with a cybersecurity background. The ideal candidate will work closely with our sales teams across the US, with a team in the US and Europe providing international experience and room for growth. Your Mission
You will nurture and support an extended sales cycle, explain and demonstrate our platform to multiple stakeholders, and serve as GitGuardian’s technical voice and product expert. You will collaborate with US Account Executives to facilitate complex relationships and close deals. You have excellent communication and project management skills. Work closely with Account Executives, helping close deals by acting as GitGuardian’s technical voice & product expert. Provide support for PoCs, perform technical product demos, and address concerns. Architect and build custom workflows for prospective customers to show value and fit within their environment. Occasional post-sales: answer level 1 support needs for existing Enterprise customers. Partner with Marketing and Product teams to create technical collateral that explains our solutions and market needs. Act as a thought leader and interface between Sales and technical staff to resolve issues. Attend regional industry conferences as needed. Ability to travel within the region as needed, up to 20%. You Have
Engineering or Computer Science degree or relevant hands-on experience with an extremely technical product. A minimum of 5 years experience as a technical Sales Engineer in a software-focused environment. Excellent understanding of the modern SDLC, Git, Linux, microservices vs monolithic architecture, and CI/CD. An understanding of AppSec, DevSecOps, IT, developer, and sales with the ability to articulate and demonstrate value to both technical and non-technical audiences. Well-developed project management skills (pre-sales & post-sales involve coordinating with multiple stakeholders). Direct Sales Engineering experience in DevSecOps / AppSec is a significant bonus. 25 days of PTO (encouraged to use all of it).
