Who We Are The Division of Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine at the University of Michigan is recruiting a faculty neonatologist to join our team at University of Michigan Health-Sparrow (UMH-Sparrow) in Lansing, Michigan. This is a full-time clinical position that combines high-acuity community neonatology with the benefits of a University of Michigan faculty appointment, including access to academic resources, teaching, and statewide collaboration.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical care in a 35-bed Level III NICU and a 12-bed Special Care Nursery

NICU manages 700-800 admissions annually, with high-frequency ventilation, inhaled nitric oxide, and therapeutic hypothermia

Team includes neonatologists, APPs, fellows, and residents

Participate in academic case conferences and QI initiatives with Michigan Medicine

Collaborate with MSU College of Human Medicine faculty and contribute to trainee education

Optional service opportunities may be available at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital

Academic Affiliation Includes a clinical faculty appointment at the University of Michigan with academic rank commensurate with experience. Faculty may participate in teaching, mentoring, scholarly work, and divisional academic activities.

Board-certified or board-eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine

Committed to clinical excellence, collaboration, and education

Comfortable in a high-acuity, community-based NICU with academic affiliation
