CHI . Job Summary and Responsibilities GI Opportunity in Lufkin, Texas. Join a very busy private practice consisting of 2 physicians. The hospital provides the provider's first-year income guarantee. Opportunity to be a very busy provider in a small community in East Texas, approximately 100 miles north of Houston. Competitive compensation and a good home/work life balance. Job Responsibilities Provide expert clinical care in advanced gastroenterology, including management of complex gastrointestinal conditions, diagnostic evaluations, and therapeutic interventions. Perform advanced endoscopic procedures including ERCP, EUS, and EMR. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to manage patient care, contributing to innovative treatment plans and ongoing clinical trials. Participate in education and mentorship of medical residents, fellows, and other healthcare professionals. Engage in the development of research initiatives in gastroenterology where applicable. Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records. Contribute to the growth and development of the gastroenterology division within Baylor St. Luke's Health. Be flexible and willing to support organizational needs with regard to healthcare and market changes. Demonstrate established clinical expertise and a commitment to patient care outcomes. Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills and work as a team leader in the workplace. Place the patient at the center of care and emphasize customer service.
