About the Role
We're looking for an enthusiastic
STEM Teacher
to foster curiosity and hands-on exploration in a private homeschool environment for two children aged 4 and 6. This in-person role in the
Presidio, San Francisco
focuses on playful, discovery-based learning across science, technology, engineering, and nature. Responsibilities
Lead fun and safe experiments, nature explorations, and engineering challenges
Introduce age-appropriate STEM topics through stories, games, and creative projects
Support inquiry-based learning and spark curiosity through "how and why" questions
Encourage teamwork, resilience, and creative problem-solving
Provide regular updates on student interests and engagement
Requirements
Around 3+ years of experience teaching early childhood education or STEM-related subjects
Background in science education, engineering, or environmental education
Experience designing project-based or maker-style activities
Nurturing, flexible teaching approach suited to early learners
In-person availability in the
Presidio, San Francisco
Authorized to work in the United States
Schedule & Pay
Time Commitment : 1 hour/day, Monday–Friday
Schedule : Flexible between 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Pay : $75/hour
Start : Flexible start date
