The Division of Clinical Sciences at the University of California, Riverside (UCR) School of Medicine is recruiting neurology clinicians within the Department of Psychiatry and Neuroscience. We seek dynamic clinician-educators to support the inpatient and outpatient clinical practice in neurology within an academic setting.
The successful candidate(s) will practice at UCR and/or UCR-affiliated clinical facilities in Riverside and surrounding areas. This includes UCR clinics, affiliated hospitals, including the UCR Multiple Sclerosis Program, which is designated by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society as a comprehensive multiple sclerosis care center.
Requirements:
M.D., D.O., or equivalent degree.
Minimum of two years of practice post-residency training from an accredited residency training program.
Board certified or board eligible with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
Must qualify for medical staff privileges at UCR Health and affiliated hospitals.
Must be eligible to practice in the State of California by the time of employment.
Ability to work effectively with staff and patients from diverse ethnic/racial backgrounds, educational levels, sexual orientations, and identities.
Ability to stay abreast of new medical knowledge and maintain expertise and skills as relevant to clinical practice.
Preferred Qualifications:
Fellowship training (in neuroimmunology/multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular neurology, epilepsy, or another subspecialty).
The full salary range for the Physician Specialist-Neurologist is from $118,100 - $302,700 annually. These appointments are part-time, up to 50%.
