Job Summary
The Division of Clinical Sciences at the University of California, Riverside (UCR) School of Medicine is recruiting neurology clinicians within the Department of Psychiatry and Neuroscience. We seek dynamic clinician-educators to support the inpatient and outpatient clinical practice in neurology within an academic setting.
Professional Responsibilities
Practice at UCR and/or UCR-affiliated clinical facilities in Riverside and surrounding areas, including UCR clinics and affiliated hospitals.
Provide care within the UCR Multiple Sclerosis Program, a comprehensive multiple sclerosis care center designated by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
Participate in both inpatient and outpatient neurological care in an academic environment.
Qualifications
MD or equivalent degree, eligible to practice in the State of California by the time of employment.
Board certified or board eligible with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.
A minimum of two years of practice post-residency training from an accredited residency training program.
Must qualify for medical staff privileges at UCR Health and UCR-affiliated hospitals.
Current work authorization; UCR is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa.
Fellowship training in neuroimmunology/multiple sclerosis, neuromuscular neurology, epilepsy, or another subspecialty is not required but is a preferred qualification.
Employment Details
Part‑time appointments, up to 50 % FTE.
Salary range: $118,100 – $302,700 annually, based on education, licensure, certifications, experience, and other organizational factors.
Locations include UCR clinics and affiliated hospitals in Riverside and surrounding areas.
Compliance with all applicable University policies and collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
